Our Story

What does Eorthappel mean? In early 14th century England, the word Eorthappel, or “apple of the earth”, was used to describe the newly cultivated cucumber plant. Eorthappel is our way of paying homage to our initial love of the pickles we create from those cucumbers.

We set out to produce a pickle that we could enjoy with anything, at any time. That initial creation of our Sweet & Spicy Pickle Slices has blossomed into experimentation and discovery of what flavors our family truly enjoys.

Our Mission
